REEFDANCER |
| Not a submarine, not a glass bottom boat,
it's even better . . .
Colorful fish, coral, even octopus choose shallow water
with lots of light. So, the deeper you go the less there is to see. Reefdancer cruises in shallow water where most life, light
and color are. The boat stays on the surface, but its hull is actually a
comfortable, air-conditioned UNDERWATER CABIN. There's more to see and it's
easier to see it. You'll be in the perfect depth for reef viewing, but instead
of a hole in the floor or a glass bottom you'll sit just under the water
line, gazing out the oversized windows. So you're right down there with
the fish instead of just looking at them from on top.

| Reefdancer has the best trained crew around. A U. S.
Coast Guard licensed Captain will welcome you on board, and then navigate
the boat to a nearby coral reef. There's a narrator in the cabin with you. This marine expert
is also an accomplished diver who will introduce you to the reef and acquaint
you with all the life on it. Don't be afraid to ask questions.
Reefdancer's divers are the best show in town. Critters like
eels and octopus are shy, so Reefdancer's divers will find some of them
and bring them right to your window. After their dive they'll be happy to
answer your questions, too.
Unique Video Technology
One of Reefdancer's divers is equipped with a video camera
that is hard wired back to monitors in the cabin. Reefdancer is one of only
three boats in the world with this technology. The video system enables
you to watch amazing film live as the diver gets up close to still more
marine life. You might miss a lot of it even if you were in the water!

Fun for All Ages
Boarding is directly from Lahaina Harbor. An easy staircase
leads down to the viewing cabin, so grandmom will be able to enjoy it. And
even the smallest members of the family will be able to see what it's like
on the reef. The door to the upper deck is always open, and both decks are
always available. We once had four generations of the same family on board:
the kids were three months and three years, and they brought Mom and Dad,
and Grandmom and Granddad, and even a Great Grandmom!
Designed Just for Reef Viewing
Reefdancer was specially built so you get ultimate in underwater
viewing. You're always seeing something new, because it doesn't anchor or
moor, so the vessel is always moving. And the reef is close to the dock,
so there's plenty of time for viewing.
Reefdancer offers tours daily from historic Lahaina Harbor,
just minutes away from wherever you stay in Maui. Every seat is a good seat,
because Reefdancer only sells window seats. There's a maximum of 34, so
be sure to make reservations. |
