HALEAKALA ON HORSEBACK |
| Our experienced guides will narrate the fascinating history
of Haleakala and its geology, with explanaitions of rare plants and animals
found only on Maui. Come enjoy incredible views, share some stories and experience
a unique tour. We look forward to providing you with a one-of-a kind horseback
riding experience while visiting Maui. |
Kapalaoa Cabin Ride - This is our signature
ride.
Check in time is 8:30 a.m. and return approximately
3:30 p.m
We depart at 9:00 a.m. from the House of the Sun Visitor Center - elevation
9,423 feet
This is a 12 Mile horseback ride from the summit of Haleakala to the Kapalaoa
Cabin and return.
Enjoy the panoramic view of cinder cones, lava flows and feel the solitude
and quiet of the wilderness
Continental breakfast at the House of the Sun Visitor Center and lunch at
the Cabin.
Riders are provided windbreaker jacket/pants, and gloves.
Price: $187.45 per rider tax included
Ka Moa O Pele Junction
Check in time is 8:30 at the visitor center and return
is approximately 2:00 p.m.
We Depart at 9:00 a.m. from the House of the Sun Visitor Center - elevation
9,423 feet
Ride decends 2,500 feet through a cinder desert to the valley floor
Enjoy the panoramic view of cinder cones, lava flows and feel the solitude
and quiet this wilderness has to offer.
This is an 8 mile horseback ride from the Summit of Haleakala to the Ka
Moa O Pele Junction.
Lunch will be served at the junction.
Riders are provided with windbreaker jackets/pants and gloves
